“Nancy” is the new collection with retro influences of the Portuguese designer (Autumn-Winter 19/20), presented last week at Portugal Fashion.
“The environment of the ski resorts is portrayed by Gambina, in a quest to reduce the environmental impact on Fashion. Sustainable materials are a priority for the designer who now produces her pieces only on demand, to finish off the pieces in stock and reduce waste. “
“Ski suits turn into delicate rounded dresses, in technical materials with references to timeless pieces, such as a windbreaker. Box pleats refer to quilts, as well as the blends show the basic details of the clothing”, according to the brand’s press release.
Details like Vichy micro squares, tricots and jacquard graphic sets reinforce the retro side of the collection but with a very contemporary attitude.
Pleated as in skating scratches, crackle effects of those who play in the snow, take us to a feminine universe, elegant but always in a very cool and personal attitude.
The predominant colors in the collection are Bordeaux, Raw, White, Yellow-Roasted, Coral / Bright Red, with orange, green and light blue notes.
