The new ÖVERALLT collection, which in Swedish means “everywhere”, proposes this, the partnership of 12 African designers (from various aspects of furniture design, fashion, sculpture, illustration and architecture) presented recently at the Design Indaba festival, in South Africa.
This collection, according to South African fashion designer Laduma Ngxokolo: “Gathers designers around the world to create innovative solutions and gives a new voice to our continent.”
The collection is inspired by three pillars: identity, sustainability and sociability.
An organic tote bag, made from packages of chips, a basket inspired by African braids (box braids) and other varieties of furniture, crockery, textiles and tapestry are examples of the pieces of this home line that will be available from May 2019.
