Spring is here and with it the desire for renewal, good vibes, longer days, happy and deep cleaning! And while we take advantage of these sunnier days to do our mental cleaning, why not do the same with our house? After all, it is our sacred place.

As for the body, face and hair there are also eco and animal-friendly solutions to consciously clean our habitat.

Usually the indispensable traditional allies for good cleaning are sponges, clothes, detergents, water, brooms or vacuum cleaners and mops. But did you know that most sponges are made of plastic?

In addition, they cannot be recycled nor composted, that is transformed into manure. An eco-friendly alternative is to use an old piece of clothing that you no longer need and start using it to clean surfaces, considering that it can be washed and reused as often as you like, unlike traditional sponges.

Products made with bamboo are another ecological choice. Bamboo is a fast growing plant and is also naturally antibacterial. During its growth there is no need to use fertilizers or pesticides, furthermore it has a very fast growth, which makes it self-renewable.

There are also “greener” alternatives to the use of detergents.
